 DESCRIPTION</h3>\n \n <p>The National Police Accou
 ntability Project (NPAP) will host <strong>a two-d
 ay intensive training in Fort Lauderdale\, Florida
  on July 23–24\, 2026\, focused on holding state a
 nd federal law enforcement accountable through civ
 il rights litigation.</strong></p>\n \n <p><br />\
 n Sessions will cover the fundamentals of Section 
 1983 litigation\, suing ICE and other federal law 
 enforcement officers under the Federal Tort Claims
  Act (FTCA)\, and current challenges and opportuni
 ties in law enforcement accountability. </p>\n \n 
 <p><br />\n <strong>Audience & Learning Goals:</st
 rong><br />\n Designed for attorneys who are newer
  to police misconduct and accountability work\, th
 e training will provide practical tools for invest
 igating cases\, identifying actionable misconduct\
 , drafting complaints\, and developing effective l
 itigation strategies. Although the training is pri
 marily designed for attorneys\, we encourage legal
  workers\, law students\, and advocates working al
 ongside impacted communities to join us as well. M
